Yelena Golod is an artist based out of Chicago specializing in abstract art and portraits. Before establishing in Chicago, Golod started painting in her home country of Belarus (then Soviet Union). Her early inspirations included Joan Mitchell and Mark Rothko.

Golod's paintings are often an expression of mood and the deep subconscious as told through their textures, shapes, and soft tones. 

​

Today, Golod's paintings can be found around the United States and abroad with many of her private buyers, as well as commercial customers.
